Using categories is a great way to keep articles organized by subject or some other common thread.

Adding an article to a category

To add an article to a category, all you have to do is add [[Category:Name of the category]] to the end of an article. For example, to add an article to The Shmits category, you would use [[Category:The Shmits]]

Linking to a category

Linking to a category is a little different than most internal links. You just need to add a colon before the word "Category." To link to The Shmits category simply type [[:Category:The Shmits]] Other than using the colon to signify that you want to link to the category rather than add it, links to categories work the same ways as any other link.
