According to Joe, Ninja Shmit is invisible, real, and not just an excuse to not do an actual comic. The fact that he is a ninja makes him epic. An invisible ninja is especially epic. This brings him into the "beyond epic" area, thus moving him into somewhere beyond explanation, reason, or logic. As such, he defies all laws of physics and rational thinking. In the alternate Shmit universe that Ninja Shmit comes from, 2+2 is fish, the sky is purple, and you speak music. It's quite fun for a vacation if you can find the 237th dimension.
